Review of LITIGATION PARALEGAL 4E (The West Legal Studies Series) (Hardcover)

I had to buy this book as part of a college course curriculum.

This was an informative and well written book which was also easy to read and follow.I can't stand boring complicated college books so this one was a welcome change. It really helped to break down the litigation process and defined many terms and uncomplicated some things that would have been quite difficult otherwise.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone just wanting to know more about litigation, especially those who don't want to be bogged down with technical legal jargon which is hard for most people to understand.

Product Description
The Litigation Paralegal: A Systems Approach, 4th Edition, is geared toward paralegal education and legal studies programs. However, it is also useful for program coordinators and directors, working paralegals in law offices, and for anyone with a general interest in the litigation process.

Review of Planetary Apothecary (Paperback)

Incredibly insightful take on health and wellness. This book appeals to the astrology novice (me) as well as those well versed in their astrological make up.Before reading Planetary Apothecary I hadn't considered a connection between my zodiac sign and my physical health.I wish I had this book 5 years ago because much of what Gailing details as part of my "Libran" self-care profile, I've slowly come to know through trial and error.I'm excited to try the wellness recommendations she outlines in areas I haven't explored (i.e. aromatherapy, yoga poses and relaxation techniques). While there are 12 astrological signs (and main chapters in the book) I found that reading the chapters on my moon and ascendant signs were equally helpful in creating a more personalized wellness plan. This has opened my eyes to the world of medical astrology and I'm loving it!

Product Description
From the sensitive Pisces to the impetuous Aries to the hardworking Capricorn, each astrological personality is distinct, with unique health needs of body, mind, and spirit. PLANETARY APOTHECARY offers an astrological sign-specific health and wellness program designed for each planetary constitution, with specific nutritional tips, natural remedies, spa therapies, relaxation practices, yoga asanas, flower essences, and aromatherapy recommendations to soothe and balance excesses while nurturing harmony and well-being.

Review of How to Sell Your Home in Any Market: 6 Reasons Why Your Home Isn't Selling... and What You Can Do to Fix Them (Paperback)

"How to Sell Your Home in Any Market" is really a great read. It's both entertaining and chock full of great information. The author outlines the reasons some homes sell and others don't.Then he goes through techniques for staging a home, how to price a home the right way and why some agents aren't completely honest in their pricing. He explains lots of different marketing ideas, websites, and advertising methods and then he starts talking about "desperation methods".He also has a start to finish outline of the selling process, and explains some differences when selling a home on your own or using a Realtor.

But what really set this book apart was all the real life stories. For every section, he has a couple stories explaining how each technique was used and what made it work.Really terrific!I rate this 5 stars! How to Sell Your Home in Any Market: 6 Reasons Why Your Home Isn't Selling... and What You Can Do to Fix Them
