Review of Ecstatic Living/Ecstatic Loving: A Christian marriage manual & life-guide (Paperback)

I found the book both interesting and informative. The boldness also added to the book's value. Even us conservative Christians can step out side the box and learn from the author's life experiences. It is a good read.

Product Description
Wife of 20 yrs., and contributing writer for The Gospel Communications Network, Melanie Schurr invites the reader in to an intimate journey of her own growth & renewal as a woman who past struggled with man's ways VS God's ways. The author speaks honestly about the mistakes of the past, and how, through God and His divine wisdom, she was able to not just over-come, but reign victorious and use these life experiences to help others. Schurr then artfully takes the reader in to the doors of her own two-decade long marriage, sharing what she believes are necessary keys in to raising marriage AND one's very life to the bountiful feast God intends each to be. Melanie Schurr dares to dig deep in to issues that many Christian's are fearful to discuss, turning on a bright light and offering practical advice from a female perspective on such issues as oral sex, sexual frequency, techniques you may have never considered, and adding increased levels of passion and intimacy to marriage.Schurr's writing style is open, down-to-earth and friendly. You will set this book down eager to apply her advice to every corner of your life.

Ecstatic Living/Ecstatic Loving is a must-read for any Christian couple going through a hard time making marriage work, but can be enjoyed by any adult who seeks God's peace, joy and wisdom. Due to certain subject matters, this book is not intended for children.

From the Author
"I share life's most private moments with readers, to show them that if I can over-come, so can you. I have no shame in the testimony of my past, because that is who I was, and not who I am today. No life crisis is too large for God.Not only can we be new creations through Him, but applying His wisdom and godly principles to our marriage, dealings with our children, and every facet of our life, has the ability to transform marriages, heal relationships, and bring a clear sense of meaning, purpose, peace and joy to our lives.Life should be enjoyed! Let's do what we need to do so that we CAN partake of this big, beautiful feast!"

-Melanie Schurr

Review of Divine Appointment: A Caregiver's Guide (Paperback)

I foundDelores Thornton's book very informative, and on the money, when it comes to what you should do and who to contact if a loved one becomes unable to care for themselves, or dies. It's full of resources for those who don't know where to turn in case sudden tragedy strikes or before it happens!

I look at this book as if it were my Guardian Angel guiding me on what to do next during family crisis, which are inevitable.

This book is for those who have been through, those going through, and those who will go through!

"Delores Thornton offers a long overdue Christian devotional handbook for the adult caregiver. With warmth and honesty she shares her struggles as she cares for her fiancé. The advice provided is not only priceless but very vital information.
