Review of A Thai Herbal (Paperback)

As a Thai Massage Practioner I have found "A Thai Herbal" to be an excellent addition to my library & my practice. This book is perfect for people with any level of knowledge in herbology, from basic to advanced. It looks at Traditional Thai Healing systems from the holistic standpoint, discussing not only the Materia Medica of Thai Herbs but also the Thai traditions of use for them. Pierce guides the reader on a journey of using Thai herbs thru diet, massage, herbal compresses and bodycare/household products that ends with the reader feeling they have really been taught from a traditional viewpoint. It also contains a very helpful resource section for those wanting to learn more about these healing plants.

This book is the result of 5 years of research and hands-on study with Thai healers in and around the Chiang Mai area of Northern Thailand. Review of Bach Flower Remedies for Cats (Paperback)

This book helped me so much, in trying to find out why my cat was pulling her fur out. We, along with our Vet, had tried everything, and nothing seemed to work. A friend recommended I try Dr. Bach`s Rescue Remedy, that is used to calm people and pets. I tried it, and then bought this book from Amazon.com. I found answers I needed, in this book, andwent to their web site to send an email, asking if they had a remedy for cats pulling out their fur. They recommendedtwo remedies, which I ordered. My cat has finally stopped pulling out her fur, and seems much more happy now! This is a very helpful book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has cats.

Review of Bach Flower Remedies for Dogs (Paperback)

I found this book very disappointing.A large portion of the book talks about how the remedies apply to humans rather than dogs. The book is badly organized and is not laid out to be an easy to use reference book. There is no index and the table of contents is not very specific. Even the chapter detailing each of the remedies is not in alphabetical order for ease of finding a remedy.
