This little book is a look into housekeeping during the less complicated life in the early 1900's. It is filled with short articles on various kitchen utensils and household tasks as cleaning and laundry (How to Make Vaselle Water(bleach), Fire building, Care of Milk, etc. The majority of the book is about choosing and preparing foods with recipes for meats, potatoes, cereals, desserts, soups, and so forth. Could be used as a historical source.
