Review of The Way of Ayurvedic Herbs: A Contemporary Introduction and Useful Manual for the World's Oldest Healing System (Paperback)

This is my first time reading anything about Ayurvedic Medicine and after going through the book, I had cross-referenced its contents with some of my friends who have been implementing these practices in their life, amazingly they all agree with the information provided in this book. For example the use of Garlic, onion, and Ginger is the primary ingredient of almost every Indian household for many many years along with other spices..handed down from Mother to Daughter but no one ever questioned why these spices were the primary base of all the foods.. with this book it breaks down and explains detailed benefits of each of these tri-primary base of Indian food. Pretty good.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to change their life and live a longer healthy life.

Review of The Hayashi Reiki Manual: Traditional Japanese Healing Techniques from the Founder of the Western Reiki System (Paperback)

This book gives very specific Reiki treatments for different ailments used by one of the most prominent Reiki healers. I've been doing the Weight Loss (Diabetic) treatment on myself. So far it has had the curious effect of stabalizing my emotions when I work on the pancrease. This book will not work for you unless you have had the Reiki transmissions, but it is very easy to use if you have had some training.

Being a student of rainforest medicinal plants myself, I found this book one of the best, published or unpublished, to-date. The drawings are excellent, making field identification easy. The presentation of both thecommon and scientific names of plants is invaluable. I found it interestingthat the Carribean people of Belize and the Carribean people of Costa Rica(where I am) use the same names and uses for many of the medicinal plants.This book is a wealth ofinformation for such a small price, not tomention, motivation for further inquiry.
